​Add TREC Links to Placester & eEdge (For Non-HAR Members)

You will need a completed Information About Brokerage Services form saved to your computer as a JPG to successfully use this guide. You can download a blank form at TREC.texas.gov and fill it in with your information. Once your IABS form is completed, follow these steps:

  • Log into mykw.kw.com
  • Hover over "Technology" and select "KW Websites"
  • Click on "Go to my website"
  • Click "Edit Site"
  • From your dashboard, select “Pages,” then click on the (+) button to add a page.
  • Under “Template,” select “About page”
  • Under “Page Content,” click on the photo icon and upload your IABS form. Click save.
  • Title your new page as “TREC Information About Brokerage Services,” then click “Save and Edit Menu”
  • From the drop-down menu, select "Custom URL"
  • Select "Add"
  • Type in Label box “TREC Consumer Protection Notice”
  • Paste the CPN URL in URL box (add one space after URL or link won’t work):

  • Click "Save"
  • ​Go to your new IABS page and copy the URL

  • In a new tab, log into your mykw.kw.com account
  • Click on "View Contacts" in your eEdge Control Panel
  • Click on your profile photo in the top-right corner and select "Website"
  • Click on "Pages" from the left-hand menu 
  • Select "Home" from the drop-down menu
  • Click on the "<>" button for the source code

  • Click on the very first line (<h2>Your <em>Local</em> Real Estate Connection</h2>) and move it down one space
  • Replace the red text in this HTML with your IABS page URL and paste it above the HTML you just moved down:​

  • Click "Ok"
  • Note: You may change "Texas Real Estate Commission" to "TREC" as long as it is in 12pt font.
  • Click "Save"
  • Go to your eEdge site (yourname.kwrealty.com) and make sure the links leads back to your IABS page on your Placester site
  • You're all done!
