Add TREC to Pinterest Step-by-Step Guide (Non-HAR)
Note: You will need JPGs of your IABS and CPN forms to successfully use this guide.
- Upload your Information About Brokerage Services form to Google Docs, then open it
- At the top, click the three dots to the left-hand side and then select “Share”
- Click “Advanced”
- Beneath “Who Has Access,” click “Change”
- Select the first option: “Public on the Web,” then save your changes
- Copy the "Link to share"
- Go to your Pinterest account
- Click on the red (+) button to create a board
- Title it, “TREC Disclosure”
- Click on “Pins” on the top menu
- Click on the red plus sign (+) that says, “Create Pin”
- Click, “Drag and drop or click to upload,” and select your IABS form to upload
- Copy and paste your IABS URL from Google Docs in the box that says “Website”
- Put “TREC Information About Brokerage Services” in the “Description” box
- Click “Done”
- Select your “TREC Disclosure” board to pin your IABS form
- Go to TREC.texas.gov. Click on "Consumer Protection Notice," beneath “Popular Forms,” and download it.
- Upload the Consumer Protection Notice form to Google Docs, publish to web, and copy the link to share
- Continue the same process above; upload and pin your Consumer Protection Notice
- On your TREC Disclosure board, click on the “(+) Add Section” button
- Title the new section, “TREC Information About Brokerage Services,” and click “Add”
- Hover your mouse over the pin of your IABS form and click the pencil icon to edit
- Under “Section,” select your “TREC Information About Brokerage Services,” and click, “Save”
- Add another section in your “TREC Disclosure” board and title it, “TREC Consumer Protection Notice”
- Hover your mouse over the pin of your CPN form and click the pencil icon to edit
- Under “Section,” select your “TREC Consumer Protection Notice,” and click, “Save”
- From your account home page (not your feed), drag your TREC Disclosure board to the first spot by clicking, holding down, then dragging it.
- All done!
