FAQ

Please use our drop-down menu to see answers to frequently asked questions.
When I log onto mykw.kw.com, why do I receive a message that says “Your Keller Williams email account is waiting for you?”
This message pops up if you do not have an @kw.com email address. KWRI is updating the myKW site login to your @kw.com email address. This is being done for a number of reasons, including safety, because no one can have an @kw.com email address if they are not a KW agent or staff member. This will make it harder for hackers to get into our systems.

To make sure you don’t have an @kw.com email address, hover over the TECHNOLOGY tab at the top of your mykw main page and select “KW Email” from the drop down. Then select “Manage your KW Email.” If you have an @kw.com email it will show up at the top. If you don’t, please follow the prompts to create one. You will NOT need to use this email to send and receive messages if you don’t want to. You will just need to use it as your identity (username) when logging in to your KW Technologies. If you are not going to use it to send and receive email then make sure you set up forwarding to whatever email address you do use to send and receive messages.
How do I change my kw.com email address?
You will need to call KW Tech Support (512-306-7191) and have them submit an “email alias” for you. You will then need to ask KW Tech Support to make the email alias the “primary” account.

I’m having trouble logging into mykw.kw.com. How can I troubleshoot this?
Make sure you have installed the latest version of your web browser and that it is up-to-date. You can also clear your cache and cookies and try re-logging in. Alternatively, you can go to www.kw.com, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and login from there.
Why can’t I see my “production” widget on my mykw.kw.com?
If you can’t see your production widget on your mykw.kw.com, it may be a browser issue. Please make sure that you are logged into your mykw.kw.com through Chrome.
I’m a Luxury Agent. How do I make changes about my Luxury designations in White Pages?
You will need to contact KW Luxury with any questions regarding Luxury. All changes to Luxury information on any KW sites must go through the division. To contact the Luxury division, hover over Home from your mykw.kw.com, and select KW Luxury Homes from the drop down. Then select Contact Us from the Luxury page and scroll down to email the appropriate person with your request.

You can add the CLHMS (Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) designation to your “My Referrals” information which will show up on your profile page.

From your mykw.kw.com, select profile to the right of your picture, then select the edit under My Referrals. From this page you will be able to add your designation. Make sure to scroll down just below the bottom of the my referral page and select save when finished.
What is my HAR MLS public ID and how do I find it?
Your HAR MLS public ID is your username for HAR.com.
What is my MLS IDX?
IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange. As a KW Agent, you have three different IDXs: One for your eEdge site (Market Leader), one for your eAgentC site and agent branded app (Wolfnet), and one for your new Placester site (Placester). These IDXs are individually added by the website providers to provide a continuous flow of the available listings showing on our MLS system. In the Houston area, that MLS is HAR.

In other words, consumers searching for a home on any of the Agent’s websites or app are actually searching through the same listings that they see on HAR.com. The difference is that when they find a home they like, they contact the Agent whose website they are viewing for more information.
How do I setup my Wolfnet IDX?
To complete your IDX activation, you must paste the My Property Search link that you received  in an email from Wolfnet in the "WolfnetURL" section of your eAgentC. To do that, please follow these instructions:

1. Log into mykw.kw.com

2. Hover over "Technology"

3. Click on "KW Websites"

4. Scroll down and under "eAgentC Agent Websites," click on "Agent Web Site Administration tool"

5. On the left menu, click on "4.0 Add Listings/IDX Search"

6. Click on "4.1 ADD IDX Search"

7. Paste your MLS link in the box titled "Wolfnet URL"

8.
Click Save

Note: If the system returns with an error and won't accept your URL, you will need to replace your URL with the following: http://www.mlsfinder.com/tx_har/yournamehere

Replace "yournamehere" with the same name listed on your Wolfnet Property Search URL. For most Agents, this will be your first and last name.

Can I add the TREC IABS links to my email signature?
We cannot add the TREC and IABS links in your email signature because it does not fulfill TREC requirements. Please read below for TREC's guidelines:

"If you are providing the IABS through a link in an email, the link and a specific reference to the IABS must be in the body of the email and look like the rest of the text in the body of the email (not smaller or a lighter color)."

You may copy and paste your TREC links into the body of the email of your first substantive correspondence with a client. Please make sure that you resize it accordingly to match the rest of your email, as the rules state.

Please remember, the best way to share your IABS with a client is through Dotloop, that way there is a record of it being sent in your activity log.
How can I remove the TREC links at the bottom of my Placester page?
Unfortunately, the TREC links you see at the bottom of the page are permanently on every Texas Agent's Placester site because of TREC regulations. Because some Agents launch their websites without the proper compliance links, Placester adds those links at the bottom as a disclaimer to protect themselves. They are required to leave them and cannot be removed.
How do I manage my Dotloop profiles if I’m a Transfer Agent?
If you are transferring from one KW Market Center to another you may have multiple profiles in myTransactions/dotloop. All transaction loops must remain with the Broker of Record for any Transactions completed under that Broker’s sponsorship. When you login to myTransactions/dotloop your new MC profile will be set as the default and you can hover over your picture to reveal the old profile. By selecting a profile you will be taken to the main page to view your loops for that profile. If you are transferring active listings then you will need to download the documents from the original MC myTransactions/dotloop profile onto your computer and then go into the new MC myTransactions/dotloop profile and create a new loop to add the documents from your computer downloads into the new MC myTransactions/dotloop profile associated with your new Broker.
How do I change my email in Dotloop?
Log into myTransactions/dotloop. Hover over your profile picture in the top right corner of the page. Select “My Account.” Select “Settings” on the left hand side of the page. Scroll down to the bottom and select “Change Email” and follow prompts.
What is Zipforms?
Zipforms, an alternative to Dotloop, is provided with an Agent’s HAR membership.
Can a Team have a Team Dotloop Account?
There are a couple of ways for teams to work in dotloop. The best way is for them to get a dotloop team account with dotloop. The team version is $200 a month and they will name 1 to 2 people as admin for the team. Every agent still gets their own dotloop account with login and password. Every time a loop is created, the team admin (or transaction coordinator) will see and have all rights from their login to each loop created by the team members.

The other way is that each team member adds the admin (transaction coordinator) to every loop they create by selecting  the box "add to my team" once added in the people section. The admin will then see and have all rights to that loop. This option is no additional cost although the team admin will want to make sure that the agents on the team adds them to each loop.

If they want the team version then they will need to call dotloop 1 (513) 257-0551 to set it up once my team has set up all of the agents on their dotloop account.

To find more info on dotloop team version you can visit support.dotloop.com and type teams in the search bar.
Why do I see a blue Dotloop screen when I try to log into my Dotloop Account?
If you are receiving a blue Dotloop screen when you click "MyTransactions," then you are most likely trying to login with a non-KW email address, which is not connected with your brokerage/office.

If you were Setup by UpTechpro, we created a Dotloop Account for you which is connected with your brokerage. Please refer to the KW Technology login sheet we sent you with your Dotloop logins.

When logging into your mykw.kw.com, before you click on "MyTransactions," go to www.dotloop.com. Log into your connected Dotloop Account (info above). This should re-establish the link when you click on "MyTransactions" again. If not, simply log-out of the non-connected Dotloop profile, and login to the correct one.
I have some of my KW Technology already setup. Can I purchase a partial setup?
No. UpTechpro does not offer partial setups. Because there are frequent updates in the system, along with local Texas requirements which are not always covered in the KWUConnect videos, we can not offer partial setups. In addition, oftentimes one feature depends on the other to be completed, so it is necessary that we go through the entire process. Having the full setup done ensures that all of your KW Technology is up-to-date and complete
How do I set up email forwarding?
